At ImmigrationGuides.com, we aren't out to sell you anything. We aren't even going to sell you on the idea of moving to Canada. This site was put together to help immigrants succeed. As such, we are as willing to tell you about the negative aspects of living in Canada (see, for example, our articles on crime and fraud), as we are about the positive ones.
We are not lawyers (though there are several articles by very helpful legal professionals here), nor are we associated with the Canadian government (though a government agency has been in touch to inquire about the people behind the site).
This site has been put together by journalists and writers, most of whom have been through the same immigration conundrums, and experienced the same lows and highs as the majority of our readers.
Our aim is to provide you with relevant, insightful articles that you will hopefully find useful - right from the time you are thinking about applying for immigration up until you get your citizenship and beyond.
The information on this website will always be free, and registration for the forums entirely optional. We are strongly committed to a no-charge, no-spam policy.
If you find the information on the site useful, we welcome you to pass the word around, and if you are in a position to help others by sharing your own experiences or writing articles, we thank you for contributing.
No matter where you are presently in your Canadian journey, good luck and may you go on to achieve your dreams.
